These terms apply to your use of mootmoot (mootmoot.ai), which is run by James Tilbury in New South Wales, Australia (“we”, “us”). By signing in, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use mootmoot.

The service
mootmoot is an invite-only assistant. It reads the email and messages from accounts you connect, turns them into tasks, and prepares replies, calendar events and plans for you to review. It is free. We may change, pause or stop it at any time, and will give you notice where we reasonably can.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and sign in with the Google account your invitation was sent to.
- Keep that Google account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your mootmoot account.
- Only connect accounts that are yours or that you are authorised to connect.
Your data
You own the content in your connected accounts and anything you add to mootmoot. You allow us to use it only to run mootmoot for you, as described on the Privacy page, which forms part of these terms. You can disconnect an account or delete your mootmoot account at any time in Settings.
AI drafts and actions
mootmoot uses AI, which can make mistakes. Drafts, summaries and tasks may be wrong or incomplete, so check them before you rely on them. mootmoot only sends email or messages, creates calendar events or acts on a website when you approve it, and you are responsible for what you approve.
Acceptable use
Don’t use mootmoot to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- send spam, or harass or deceive anyone;
- access another user’s data, or the systems behind mootmoot, without permission;
- interfere with, overload or probe the security of mootmoot.
If you find a security problem, tell us at the address below rather than testing further. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or where needed to protect mootmoot, its users or others.
Other services
mootmoot relies on Google, WhatsApp, Telegram and the other companies listed on the Privacy page. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for them. In particular, WhatsApp’s terms don’t allow unofficial apps like mootmoot, so linking WhatsApp may put your WhatsApp account at risk.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the law allows, our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the service again. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, we don’t promise that mootmoot will be available, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using mootmoot after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
